Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics seeks a Sr. Manager, Site Budgets & Contracts to lead investigator site budgets for multiple trials and manage negotiation parameters within an outsourced CRO model.

This role requires extensive Grants Manager/GrantPlan experience, strong financial analysis, and collaboration with CDO, CROs, and clinical operations teams. The successful candidate will drive FMV-based budgeting, monitor budgets against FMV benchmarks, and ensure site activation timelines align with CTA

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' direct experience in global investigator site budget creation and negotiations; experience with GrantManager/GrantPlan preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (CDO, CRO, site personnel).
• Proven financial analysis skills and ability to justify budgets; experience in outsourced CRO oversight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee site budgets for multiple trials within designated therapeutic areas.
• Provide strategic planning for IG budgets and FMV benchmarking for forecast needs.
• Lead or contribute to FMV-based budget development and negotiation parameters in CRO models.
