Job summary

activpayroll Ltd. is seeking a Senior Manager for Global Mobility and Tax Advisory in the United Kingdom. You will lead a portfolio of international clients, delivering mobility tax compliance and advisory services, and act as the main contact for complex UK tax matters.

You will oversee returns, shadow payrolls, and year-end reconciliations, coordinating with partners worldwide. The role requires strong people leadership, client management, and a drive to grow our mobility tax services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in international mobility tax, including expatriate tax compliance and advisory work.
• Strong UK tax knowledge with experience preparing, reviewing and signing UK tax returns and advising on payroll tax and social security.
• Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of international clients, delivering mobility tax compliance and advisory services.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing practical advice on UK income tax, payroll tax and social security matters.
• Oversee tax compliance activity, including UK tax returns, shadow payrolls and year-end reconciliations, coordinating with global partners.
• Review and sign off UK tax returns and provide technical guidance on complex mobility tax matters.
• Build strong relationships with the global partner network to ensure seamless service delivery across jurisdictions.
• Develop junior team members by sharing knowledge and mentoring.
