Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Japan team in our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice, in London.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and lead strong relationships with senior members of the company, focusing on Japan-HQ businesses.
• Recognize and develop opportunities to further grow the Japan team in the UK.
• Be the day-to-day contact for allocated VIPs, working closely with Engagement Leaders to deliver enhanced service.
• Manage the global coordination and/or UK service delivery of client engagements, supported by junior staff.
• Manage compliance processes for international assignees.
• Provide clients with up-to-date information on relevant tax developments.
• Advise on risk issues and assist in mitigation.
• Oversee project management.
• Delegate work and train junior staff.
• Interact with KPMG's global People Services network.
• Assist with daily operations of the Japan team and participate in managerial meetings.
• Monitor and manage financial results to ensure profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ACA/ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent.

Experience and Background:

• Understanding of Japanese professional practices and business customs.
