The Financial Service (FS) Reward practice at KPMG is a dedicated team providing reward solutions to both UK and non-UK headquartered FS clients. This role offers the opportunity to join a business area with strong leadership support to build upon its success and continue growing.
We are seeking talented and driven Reward specialists excited to work within a growing business and contribute to this exciting journey. The successful candidate will engage in business development activities, including client proposals, presentations, and technical writing. We offer unparalleled opportunities for learning and growth.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering client projects on Reward workflows, including:
- Advising Remuneration Committees and management on reward strategy, shareholder consultation, corporate governance, pay regulation, ESG regulation, and practices
- Assisting with drafting Director's Remuneration Reports
- Designing and reviewing incentive plans to ensure they remain fit for purpose
- Advising on performance metrics, including ESG measures
- Assessing the impact of corporate transactions on compensation and benefits plans
- Designing plans for the wider workforce, including share purchase, recognition, wellbeing, and benefits plans
- Conducting pay and benefits benchmarking
- Building and maintaining client relationships, discussing people issues, and recognizing new opportunities
- Collaborating with other teams to deliver integrated advice
- Delegating and reviewing work of junior team members
- Training and developing junior staff
- Developing innovative solutions and bringing them to market
- Supporting the team's knowledge management and advising on technical issues
- Managing engagement aspects to ensure quality and profitability
- Leading negotiations and presenting reports to senior executives
- Building a client portfolio through strategic relationship management
- Staying informed on market trends and competitor activity

Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in economics, finance, mathematics, business, or statistics
- Experience demonstrating technical skills, client service, and business development
- Experience advising Financial Services firms on Reward or working with Remuneration Committees, either externally or in-house
