Job summary

Teneo is seeking an experienced Manager/Associate Director to lead diverse advisory engagements in the North team, guiding junior staff and collaborating with Directors. You will advise boards, lenders and management on restructuring, cash management and turnaround strategies across SME to PLC clients.

Ideal candidates bring ACA/ACCA, proven restructuring expertise, strong leadership, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong restructuring experience in professional services, consultancy or bank.
• Understanding of financial statements and historical/future performance.
• Knowledge of insolvency legislation and practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts of engagements and lead junior staff under senior leadership.
• Provide financial restructuring and cash management services to improve liquidity.
• Stress-test business plans, budgets and forecasts with data-driven analysis.
• Develop insolvency strategies and coordinate with legal and other teams.
• Deliver high-quality outputs within planned timescales.
• Support business development and manage client relationships.
