Senior Manager, Environmental Sustainability

Are you ready to make your mark as part of a global team supporting operations through environmental sustainability? At White & Case, we support and empower you as an integral member of our diverse, international team from day one.

The Senior Manager, Environmental Sustainability, will be crucial in delivering our sustainable operations and demonstrating our commitment to responsible business.

You will lead initiatives to integrate sustainable practices into our operations, collaborating with various teams to execute our strategy. You will champion sustainability across our global offices and drive organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collect and analyze scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas data to track emissions in accordance with protocol standards.
2. Provide expertise to Office Managers, Real Estate & Design, and Global Sourcing teams for environmental best practices and emissions reduction.
3. Establish measurable metrics and benchmarks to monitor progress towards sustainability goals.
4. Work with Operations leadership to enhance the firm's sustainability capabilities and advocate for targets and action plans.
5. Engage clients and stakeholders to communicate the firm's sustainability efforts and foster partnerships.
6. Assist with global ESG reporting, including TCFD, CSRD, and other sustainability disclosures.
7. Ensure transparent communication through annual reports, sustainability metrics, and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability or related field.
2. Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, preferably in a corporate or legal environment.
3. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
4. Analytical skills to address complex environmental challenges and propose solutions.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
6. Experience in driving organizational change is desirable.

Location and Reporting:

Based in London, reporting to the Associate Director, Global Operations. Standard hours are 09:30-18:00, with a requirement to work 3 days in-office per week.
