Senior Manager, Enterprise Architect – Technology Consulting – Belfast & Derry/Londonderry

Team and Opportunity

Our Technology Strategy & Transformation team supports clients in business and digital enablement via technology strategy, architecture, and advisory services. We work with CTOs, CIOs, CXOs, and COOs to derive value from technology investments, covering strategy development, architecture, solution design, and execution.

Role Overview

As an Enterprise Architect (Senior Manager), you will help clients solve business problems and leverage opportunities in a dynamic marketplace. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop a holistic view of their organisation's strategy, processes, applications, information, and technology assets, aligning IT strategy with business goals through architectural models.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technology and digital strategies, delivering Enterprise Architecture services and tools.
  • Lead projects and workstreams, advising clients directly.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver engagements related to technology transformation and services.
  • Collaborate effectively within teams, sharing responsibility and maintaining communication.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships, contributing to practice growth through thought leadership.
  • Coach team members and ensure compliance with EY quality and risk management standards.
  • Prepare bids and lead response efforts.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in technology services including strategy, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and software development.
  • Proficient in at least one EA domain (Applications, Data, Infrastructure, Security, Integration).
  • Experience in leadership roles, managing projects and teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Agri-foods, or Energy sectors.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and recommend solutions.
  • Knowledge of scalable architecture, emerging technologies, and frameworks like TOGAF, Scrum, ITIL, PMP, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, Scrum, ITIL, PMP, vendor-specific, or management certifications.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
