Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Senior Manager, Employee Communications to join us on a 12-18 month FTC. We’re offering a competitive base salary and strong benefits package.
As a Senior Manager in Employee Communications, you will play a key role in supporting significant change announcements across our businesses and Group Functions, helping to create a growing, simpler, and better-connected organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Defining and delivering a HR & Transformation communications strategy that engages employees within the function and across the broader HR & Transformation community.
- Acting as a business partner to the Group Chief People and Transformation Officer, providing strategic guidance and advice.
- Working with the Employee Communications Leadership Team to develop and deliver communications strategies that support L&G’s strategy and transformation goals.
- Leading high-quality content development, stakeholder engagement, and event delivery to support communications plans.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across HR and Transformation to support emerging objectives through employee communications.
- Ensuring communications are reviewed and approved by knowledgeable and skilled individuals.
- Managing employee-related matters, ensuring consistent use of management discretion and adherence to Group policies.
- Adopting an agile approach to delivery in line with business requirements.
Who we’re looking for:
- Significant knowledge of employee and change communications strategies.
- Experience working within financial services or large, complex organizations.
- Excellent copywriting skills and experience in developing engaging narratives for employees.
- Ability to work independently and propose solutions while collaborating to meet deadlines.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective relationship management with external agencies and colleagues.
