Senior Manager – Embedded Software & Power Electronics

This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers across embedded hardware, software and power electronics to develop advanced systems for next- aerospace applications.

You will also act as the primary technical interface with a strategic external supplier, overseeing the definition and delivery of key work packages, managing integration timelines and coordinating cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless system integration.

The Role:

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team spanning embedded systems, power electronics and software.
  • Oversee technical coordination with a key external supplier, managing delivery of critical components and integration milestones.
  • Drive system architecture, hardware/software design.
  • Manage project planning, resource allocation and risk mitigation across the development lifecycle.
  • Guide compliance with aerospace safety standards and contribute to safety analysis and certification deliverables (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754/4761).

Key Skills:

  • Embedded Systems and Power Electronics development.
  • Proven track record leading engineering teams and collaborating with external partners on complex technical deliveries.
  • Strong background in aerospace or high-integrity systems, with experience in control systems, motor/inverter design and hardware/software design.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration, validation & verification (V&V) and full development lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety and certification standards (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754/4761, ISO 26262).
