The Head of Content & Creative Services is responsible for overseeing the creation, management, and optimization of all content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to enhance Vanguard's brand, drive engagement, leads, and positive customer behavior.
The Head of Content & Creative Services is responsible for overseeing the creation, management, and optimization of all content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to enhance Vanguard's brand, drive engagement, leads, and positive customer behavior. This individual will lead a team of content creators and designers to ensure content aligns with the firm's brand voice, strategic goals, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and track record in content strategy, content marketing, editorial direction, copywriting, creative direction, design and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategically transform the content and creative function from a service provider
to a driver of business outcomes through content and creative.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive and strategic content strategy that
aligns with the firm's marketing and business objectives, while understanding
the audiences we serve and the relevant channel & tone of voice
• Provide creative direction on content and design projects, ensuring they are
innovative, compelling and aligned to brand standards
• Lead the content & creative services team and oversee the creation of diverse
content types, including campaigns, websites, articles, newsletters, blog posts,
videos, infographics, social media content, white papers, and more.
• Oversee the creation and publication of high-quality, engaging, and compliant
content across all digital, multimedia and print channels.
• Provides editorial direction, guidance and oversight to the team and business
stakeholders
• Cross-functional collaboration with the broader marketing and communications
team, product, Investment Strategy Group, CX and sales teams to ensure
content, creative, and design efforts support divisional and business objectives.
• Analyze content performance metrics and optimize content strategies based
on data-driven insights.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the firm's
content remains relevant and competitive.
• Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all content
Projects.
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
within the content team.
Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related
field.
• 10+ years of experience in content creation, management and strategy,
preferably within the financial services or asset management industry.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire a
diverse team.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful content,
communication and design creative strategies.
• Proven track record of evolving and transforming teams to new ways of
working and leading by example
• Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing
best practices.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage
multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make
informed decisions.
