This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

The Senior Manager, Client Ops New Business Implementation will assist with operational aspects of launching innovative new investment solutions for our clients. This is an exciting role directly involved in the firm's expansion, part of the Client Operations platform responsible for establishing key new operational builds in emerging areas.

The role involves close collaboration with various areas within Client Operations and ongoing partnerships across the firm, including Strategy, Innovation, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Investor Relations, Private Wealth, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as external providers and advisors.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Brings cross-functional expertise with experience in one or more of the following operational functions: Accounting, Client Experience, Performance/Analytics, Transfer Agent, Treasury.
  • Has strong attention to detail and can drive client operational decisions on projects while incorporating diverse perspectives, especially in uncharted areas.
  • Possesses experience with complex fund structures, including open and closed-end funds, alternatives, private equity, credit investments, and performance fee structures.
  • Can clearly communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms through documentation, presentations, and discussions.
  • Has experience working in team environments, with leadership or facilitation skills.

What you will do:

The Senior Manager will report to the Head of New Business Implementation for Client Operations, SVP, and will help design operational development for new products aligned with the firm's strategy. Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with senior professionals to assess operational capacity and needs affecting models involving accounting, treasury, taxation, onboarding, reporting, performance, and third-party providers.
  • Supporting all aspects of launching new products from concept to transition to the 'run' team.
  • Assessing operational processes and technology requirements for new product implementation, leveraging past experience.
  • Establishing dependencies and goals to meet operational readiness and launch targets.
  • Reviewing legal and product documentation from an operational perspective.
  • Gathering and evaluating feedback from across the organization to inform product terms and operational models.
  • Coordinating with operational leads to ensure readiness.
  • Sharing insights to influence product strategy and operational efficiencies.
  • Performing other duties as required.

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in private markets or asset management, focusing on client operations, fund structuring, and product launches.
  • Proven success in managing multi-dimensional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, LUX GAAP, and other accounting standards.
  • Deep understanding of the mechanics and interdependencies of alternative investment funds.
  • Familiarity with legal structures used for private market strategies.

Education Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 8-10 years in private equity or alternative asset classes.
