Qualifications

Job Description

You will join IQ-EQ as a Senior Manager in Capital Markets, where you will take ownership of structured finance portfolios and deliver exceptional client service. You will lead financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and administration while guiding junior colleagues and building trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of Capital Markets clients, including ABS, MBS, CLOs, and other structured finance vehicles, delivering accurate and timely reporting
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, working with auditors, legal advisors, and intermediaries to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Support and develop junior colleagues, reviewing their work and providing technical guidance to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards, applying up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting requirements
  • Contribute to improving processes, systems, and client service within the Corporate Services team
Day-to-Day Tasks
  • Prepare and review financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS, including group consolidations
  • Oversee bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT preparation and filing, and provide audit assistance for client portfolios
  • Manage bank account administration, review payment setups, and act as a back-up for client payment processes
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, resolving queries, and escalating issues when needed
  • Deliver ad-hoc projects and assignments on time, ensuring quality and accuracy in all outputs

Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in Capital Markets, with exposure to structured finance vehicles from incorporation to closure
  • Expertise in bookkeeping, VAT preparation, and financial statement preparation under UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero) and have strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Effective communication, managing multiple deliverables, and building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
