Our Kitchener-Waterloo office seeks a Senior Manager for the Canadian Tax team, with responsibilities including:

  • Evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs, and developing proactive tax strategies.
  • Applying specialized knowledge to address tax issues relevant to clients.
  • Providing technical and project management leadership for Domestic Tax projects, ensuring quality standards.
  • Developing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including tax reorganizations and reviewing tax returns.
  • Building positive client relationships and supporting engagements.
  • Training staff and investing in team development.

Success in this role means:

  • Understanding the industries served and contributing to the group's advancement.
  • Completing work accurately and maintaining technical knowledge.
  • Implementing quality and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation, In-Depth Tax Program, and/or Masters in Tax.
