Our Kitchener-Waterloo office seeks a Senior Manager to join the Canadian Tax team. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes, and developing proactive tax strategies.
- Applying specialized knowledge to identify and address tax issues relevant to the client’s business.
- Providing technical and project management leadership for Domestic Tax projects, ensuring quality standards.
- Developing and implementing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including reviewing tax reorganizations and corporate, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Building positive client relationships and supporting engagement success.
- Training staff and investing in professional development.

Your experience and education
- CPA designation, In-Depth Tax Program, and/or Masters in Tax.
- At least 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in Tax specialization.
- Extensive knowledge of tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance.
- Valuing teamwork, client service, and quality work.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
