Job summary

BDO is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Business Restructuring team. You’ll lead and deliver a wide range of corporate insolvency and advisory assignments, taking ownership of engagements and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

You’ll mentor junior staff, contribute to business development, and work with senior managers, directors and partners to drive practical solutions for entrepreneurial and growing organisations across the UK.

Qualifications

• A recognised ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualification.
• Significant experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring with high-quality deliverables.
• Strong understanding of administrations, CVLs, and CVAs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of insolvency regulations and statutory requirements.
• Experience using IPS.
• Experience in financial modelling and forecasting in insolvency context.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly desirable.
• CPI, JIEB, or other insolvency qualification would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality work and manage a portfolio of engagements of varying size and complexity.
• Take ownership of engagements with limited input from senior colleagues.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development support to junior team members.
• Contribute to business development initiatives to support the growth of the practice.
