Job description

We are looking for a Senior Manager based in London to join the Nasdaq Board Advisory practice within our wider Nasdaq Governance Solutions team.

Our Governance Solutions products and services help public, private, and non-profit organizations worldwide streamline meeting processes, accelerate decision-making, and drive governance excellence; and our growing Board Advisory practice is established as a leading provider of board evaluations and related services across numerous EMEA markets.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Nasdaq Board Advisory's continued growth in EMEA and globally, contributing to the winning of advisory projects critical to our clients' future success.
  • Delivering valuable insights and support for our clients in the EMEA region across our suite of solutions and services, with a strong focus on board evaluations.
  • Educating and advising internal stakeholders including Sales, Account Management and Client Service teams on board effectiveness and governance matters.
  • Supporting the growth of the Nasdaq Center for Board Excellence in EMEA and globally by contributing to the development of thought leadership, event speaking and other community-building initiatives for directors and governance leaders.
  • Continually developing working knowledge of board governance and related practices including legal and regulatory requirements as well as real-world approaches.
  • Acting as a 'trusted advisor' to our clients and other partners on governance matters.
  • Developing positive relationships with internal stakeholders across Nasdaq.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in governance advisory, board performance assessment, board administration or company law.
  • A keen interest in governance and the critical role it has in delivering a sustainable future.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at a time, end-to-end.
  • Excellent client engagement skills, including building and managing senior client relationships, leading proposals and pitches, and presenting to Boards.
  • Experience of engaging and interacting with board and C-level client stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of an organisation.
  • Positive attitude and deep customer service orientation.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A relevant professional qualification and/or membership of a relevant professional body (preferred).
