This role will lead the Talent Deployment - Audit team aligned for FS. With a fixed book of work and complex regulation and accreditation requirements, it is critical that the Audit Resourcing Senior Manager FS can optimise resourcing within the performance group. Proper resource allocation impacts quality, financial results, and employee experience, which are key pillars of our strategy.
The role reports directly to the Head of Talent Deployment - Audit, with a dotted line to the FS HoPO.
Responsibilities include:
- Demand planning, including awareness of the portfolio pipeline and wider management activities
- Collaborating with KGS teams related to resourcing and performance
- Talent allocation
- Managing the Flexible Resource Pool
- Identifying and allocating under-utilised resources
- Stakeholder liaison for conflict resolution
- Supporting SOQM controls related to resource assignment in Audit
The role involves supporting the Head of Talent Deployment - Audit in implementing change to embed resourcing within first-line responsibilities. It offers an opportunity to influence Audit priorities and strategies, optimise workforce sources, and support transformation initiatives.
Daily tasks include negotiation, process optimisation, managing transformations, and coaching team members.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure engagement staffing and utilisation are optimised
- Operate escalation and resolution processes
- Deliver forward planning for resourcing
- Manage SOQM processes for engagement assignments
- Ensure cost-effective service using blended workforce and technology
- Coordinate with other teams for demand fulfilment
- Provide performance data and metrics
- Enhance customer satisfaction and colleague experience
Performance Management:
- Manage Resource Managers and oversee team performance and recruitment
- Focus on service delivery metrics and inclusive culture
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Talent Deployment in Audit or similar
- Resilient and adaptable in changing environments
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and operational delivery
- Excellent interpersonal skills and credibility
- Ability to handle large volumes and prioritize
- Problem-solving skills and strategic influence
- Discretion and ethical behavior
- Networking skills and internal connections
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word
