Job summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking a professionally qualified accountant to lead a portfolio of restructuring, turnaround and insolvency assignments across varied clients in the UK.

You will advise lenders and investors, manage project teams, coach juniors, and develop senior client relationships while supporting business development for the Manchester team. Eligibility to work in the UK and ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified accountant with strong restructuring and insolvency experience.
• Experience in Restructuring, Insolvency or Business Restructuring in an accountancy practice is essential.
• Insolvency qualification such as JIEB would be advantageous.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Job description

Duties include:

• Leading and managing a range of restructuring, turnaround and insolvency assignments
• Advising companies, lenders, investors and other stakeholders experiencing financial distress
• Working across areas including turnaround, refinancing, Independent Business Reviews, cash flow and options reviews, contingency planning and formal insolvency
• Taking responsibility for the delivery of complex assignments and managing project teams
• Developing and maintaining strong senior client and stakeholder relationships
• Coaching and developing junior team members
• Supporting business development, pitches and the continued growth of the Manchester team

The successful candidate must be a professionally qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA, with strong restructuring and insolvency experience.

Previous experience working within a Restructuring, Insolvency or Business Restructuring team within an accountancy practice or specialist restructuring boutique is essential. An insolvency qualification such as JIEB would be advantageous.

Candidates must also be eligible to work in the UK.
