Instapro (part of Angi, Inc., NASDAQ: ANGI) is hiring a Senior Manager of Accounting to support the Finance Director with taking ownership of the accounting and reporting of several international entities. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international team of accounting professionals and contribute to a growing organization.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and a solution-focused team player, assisting the team with enhancing documentation and review procedures to ensure the accuracy of reported results and compliance with SOX and other compliance matters. The candidate must be flexible to function in an ever-changing organization.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee a team of GL Accountants, responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process and review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting deliverables

Assist the broader team to ensure the timely monthly closings and review of financial reporting accuracy

Enhance documentation of policies and procedures and other support serving as audit evidence (i.e. journal entry support, reconciliation explanations, memos on key topics)

Design, document, and evaluate internal controls over financial reporting and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Section 404

Partner with FP&A, Marketing, HR, Legal, and Tech and the US accounting team to ensure accounting alignment across functions

Involvement in ad hoc finance and accounting projects

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of junior accounting professionals

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance

At least 3 years of audit experience required, preferably Big 4 (KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, EY)

Firsthand understanding of audit evidence, testing methodologies, and remediation plans

Strong US-GAAP knowledge and familiarity with Local GAAP differences

In-depth expert knowledge of accounting and external reporting standards under US GAAP and in compliance with public listing regulatory requirements

At least 2 years of managerial and project experience

Excellent business-level English, writing and presentation skills and experience. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Proven experience with implementing and maintaining SOX and internal controls

Experience with working in a global organization, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

Familiarity with cross-border transfer pricing systems

Ability to adapt easily to change initiatives and implement process improvements

Completed advanced university degree with a background in finance or business administration or a comparable apprenticeship. Additional qualification as a certified accountant is an advantage, e.g., CPA or CIMA

Experience with NetSuite and Blackline a plus
