Job summary

SearchWorks Pty Ltd is partnering with a leading professional services firm to grow its UK Employment Tax practice. The team is expanding, with internal promotions at two levels to Senior Manager and Manager.

The roles focus on advising UK and multinational clients on advisory and compliance work, collaborating with reward, global mobility, payroll and share plan specialists, and leveraging the firm’s global network.

Qualifications

• UK employment tax experience gained in professional practice.
• Broad technical knowledge: expenses & benefits, PSAs, employment status and IR35, PAYE & NIC, termination payments, CIS, pensions, HMRC enquiries, SAO/CCO.
• Strong project management, delivery and people leadership skills.
• ATT and/or CTA desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Senior Managers will: Lead complex engagements and advise senior stakeholders on employment tax risk, governance and workforce strategy.
• Senior Managers will: Drive business development—build relationships, write proposals and lead pitches to grow the practice.
• Senior Managers will: Coach and develop a team of managers and seniors.
• Managers will: Run the day-to-day delivery of advisory and compliance projects.
• Managers will: Review technical work, support proposals and develop junior team members.

I'm partnered with a leading professional services firm to grow its UK Employment Tax practice. The team is growing, internal promotions are happening, and they're adding experienced people at two levels:

The role

You'll advise a broad portfolio of UK and multinational clients on advisory and compliance work. You'll work closely with reward, global mobility, payroll and share plan specialists, and the firm's global network.

Senior Managers will:

• Lead complex engagements and advise senior stakeholders on employment tax risk, governance and workforce strategy
• Drive business development: build relationships, write proposals and lead pitches to grow the practice
• Coach and develop a team of managers and seniors

Managers will:

• Run the day-to-day delivery of advisory and compliance projects
• Review technical work, support proposals and develop junior team members

What you'll need

• UK employment tax experience gained in professional practice
• Already at Manager or Senior Manager grade
• Broad technical knowledge, for example expenses & benefits / PSAs, employment status and IR35, PAYE & NIC, termination payments, CIS, pensions, HMRC enquiries, SAO/CCO, plus a basic understanding of equity plans
• Strong project management, delivery and people leadership skills
• ATT and/or CTA desirable but not essential
