TN Recruits Ltd in Eastbourne is seeking a Senior Manager for an established accountancy practice. You will lead a team, work closely with a Partner and take ownership of a varied client portfolio.

The role offers autonomy, strong client relationships and genuine responsibility with flexible hours and a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience supervising, training and supporting staff.
• Confident managing clients and working independently.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Partner to manage a varied client portfolio.
• Reviewing and finalising accounts, tax returns and client correspondence.
• Provide advice on tax, Xero and general accountancy matters.
• Support clients with financial forecasts, management accounts and advisory projects.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of staff.
• Oversee workloads, deadlines and workflow.
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Confidently manage day-to-day operations in the Partner's absence.

Location: Eastbourne
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours)

An established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Eastbourne is looking for an experienced and confident Senior Manager to join its team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a Partner, take ownership of a varied client portfolio and play a key role in the success of the practice.

About the role

As Senior Manager, the successful candidate will have plenty of autonomy and responsibility, supporting the Partner while managing both clients and the wider team.

• Working closely with the Partner to manage a varied client portfolio
• Reviewing and finalising accounts, tax returns and client correspondence
• Providing advice on tax, Xero and general accountancy matters
• Supporting clients with financial forecasts, management accounts and advisory projects
• Managing, mentoring and developing a team of staff
• Overseeing workloads, deadlines and workflow
• Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Confidently managing day-to-day operations in the Partner's absence

What we are looking for

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice
• Proven experience supervising, training and supporting staff
• Confident managing clients and working independently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good knowledge of accountancy software, ideally Xero and CCH
• A proactive, professional and approachable attitude
