Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Madison Berkeley is seeking a Senior Management Surveyor to lead Property Management across a Central London portfolio. You will own service charge strategy, manage senior landlord relationships and oversee leases, with turbulence-free governance and commercial oversight across the asset base.
The role emphasizes strategic influence beyond day-to-day management, working with Finance, Asset Management and Operations, and offering visibility into portfolio performance.
I am working with a highly regarded Central London landlord and occupier that is looking to appoint a Senior Management Surveyor into a newly created client side position.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced commercial Property Management professional who wants to move into a more strategic, commercially focused role while remaining close to the operational performance of a high quality Central London portfolio.
You will act as a senior Property Management lead across a portfolio of commercial buildings, taking ownership of service charge strategy, landlord and partner relationships, contractual governance, portfolio reporting and property related escalations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Asset Management, Facilities and Operations, giving the role broader exposure than a traditional managing agent position.
The position has genuine influence across the business, with responsibility extending beyond day to day management into commercial performance, governance, risk and wider portfolio strategy.
You will ideally have significant experience within commercial Property Management, with exposure to multi let offices, flexible workspace, mixed use or hospitality led environments.
Strong service charge experience is essential, including budgeting, reconciliations, landlord service charge reviews and cost allocation.
You will also need to be commercially minded, financially confident and comfortable managing senior stakeholder relationships in a complex property environment.
Experience working with institutional investors, asset managers or management agreement partners would be particularly relevant.
For someone looking to step into a senior client side Management Surveying role with genuine responsibility, visibility and influence, this is an excellent opportunity.
