Job summary

FryerMiles, a specialist UK management consultancy, seeks a Senior Management Consultant to support major digital and business transformation programmes across UK Government, including Homeland Security, Policing and Justice.

The role is permanent with hybrid working in London or Cheltenham. You will lead complex engagements, shape strategy, and manage senior stakeholders from problem definition to implementation. Eligible for SC clearance / DV.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK Government/public sector.
• Experience delivering major digital/organisational transformation programmes.
• Expertise in secure cloud transformation, AI/digital transformation, GDS/UCD, digital service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex consulting and transformation engagements across UK Government.
• Advise senior stakeholders on strategy and delivery.

Senior Management Consultant – Permanent – £55,000 to £70,000 - London or Cheltenham – Hybrid – SC Clearance / Eligible for DV

FryerMiles are working with a specialist UK management consultancy to assist in their recruitment a Senior Consultant to support major digital and business transformation programmes across UK Government, including Homeland Security, Policing and Justice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex consulting and transformation engagements across UK Government.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping strategy and delivery.
• Lead engagements from problem definition through to implementation.
• Identify new opportunities and contribute to bids, proposals and account growth.
• Support the development of consulting propositions and capabilities.

Essential Experience

• Strong experience within UK Government / public sector.
• Experience working on major digital or organisational transformation programmes.
• Expertise in one or more of:
  • Secure cloud transformation
  • AI / digital transformation
  • GDS / User-Centred Design
  • Digital service delivery
• Strong understanding of the Government DDaT landscape.
• Excellent stakeholder management and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Government governance, funding and approval processes.
• Experience working within complex or secure environments.
• Eligibility for high-level UK security clearance.

Desirable

• Experience supporting business development, bids and proposals.
• BCS, MSP, MoP, P3O, Prosci, TOGAF or similar professional qualifications.
