Job summary

SF Recruitment is partnering with a Solihull-based business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. The role offers ownership of the management accounting function and close collaboration with senior finance leadership.

You will drive month-end closing, provide insightful management reporting and support budgeting and forecasting as the business grows through an exciting transition.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong experience in management accounting and month-end reporting.
• Proactive, hands-on with ability to improve processes and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the month-end process, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts.
• Lead on monthly reporting, variance analysis and providing meaningful financial insight to senior stakeholders.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and financial controls.
• Work closely with the FP&A Lead to support budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning.
• Manage and support a Management Accountant, providing guidance and helping develop the team.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, systems and finance processes.
• Work closely with senior finance stakeholders to support business performance and ongoing change.
