Senior Management Accountant - Hospitality - £60-75K

Your new company

I am supporting an exciting and fast-growing food & beverage company seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their team. This role involves extensive finance business partnering with internal and external stakeholders, along with various commercial duties, making it a well-rounded and dynamic position. The client prefers candidates trained within the Big 4 who have transitioned into the food & beverage, hospitality, or retail sectors, and are now looking for their next opportunity in industry. They are also open to candidates directly from the Big 4 with excellent academics and a confident, eager personality suited for a finance business partnering role, or those trained through a finance graduate scheme within a hospitality or retail company.

Your new role

  1. Ownership of month-end and management accounts
  2. Finance business partnering with internal and external stakeholders
  3. Financial analysis
  4. Financial reporting under UK GAAP / FRS102
  5. Supporting budgeting and forecasting
  6. Recording and reviewing journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  7. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial operations

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have been trained within the Big 4 and moved into the food & beverage, hospitality, or retail sectors, seeking their next opportunity in industry. Alternatively, candidates from the Big 4 with excellent academics and a confident, proactive attitude, or those trained through a finance graduate scheme within hospitality or retail, are encouraged to apply.
