Join our Finance Team in Palethorpes, Market Drayton - Fixed Term Contract!

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our team in Crewe on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will analyze site financial performance and support the team in developing and improving relevant projects and measures to meet business needs.

Working Hours:

This is a hybrid role, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Your Duties Will Include:

• Assisting the site finance team with performance reporting.
• Supporting management of the site finance team and deputising for the Finance Manager when needed.
• Interrogating ERP systems.
• Managing master data, including BOMs, standard costings, and pricing.
• Analyzing financial performance to support decision-making.
• Preparing daily and weekly KPI and variance reports.
• Reporting on stock variances and investigations.
• Assisting in monthly management accounting and variance analysis.
• Posting accruals and prepayments.
• Reconciliation of monthly balance sheets for review.
• Tracking capital project spend and benefits.
• Gathering financial data for post-investment appraisals.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, etc.)
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• ERP knowledge.
