Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Senior Management Accountant will oversee financial control and reporting for a joint venture within our Rail division, specifically the HS2 JV. You will ensure accurate monthly reporting and forecasting in the JV management accounts and support ad hoc financial requirements.
This is a hybrid role, based at Warwick HQ 2-3 days per week, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities include acting as the finance representative for the HS2 JV, attending project and JV meetings, producing reports, organizing audits, supporting payment applications, monitoring disallowed costs, and ensuring compliance with JV protocols.
Ideal candidates are experienced Senior Management Accountants with a CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification (or equivalent), with solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, particularly in project or joint venture environments. Advanced Excel and ERP skills are required, along with a collaborative approach to partnering with finance and operational teams.
