Our client is seeking a meticulous and commercially astute Senior Management Accountant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your financial expertise in driving the production of full management accounts, KPIs, budgeting, balance sheet and P&L reporting. You will be instrumental in influencing the operational performance of the business through data interpretation and advisory services.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our client's business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve driving the production of comprehensive management accounts and KPIs, overseeing budgeting processes, balance sheet and P&L reporting. You will also prepare for audits and provide other essential financial information. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will produce and interpret data that informs, influences, and drives the operational performance of the business. Furthermore, you will support and develop team members while extending the remit of your team to provide Business Partnering to each business unit.

What you bring:

As a Senior Management Accountant, you bring a wealth of experience from similar roles within a consultancy environment. Your qualifications in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA underpin your strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities. You are proficient in Excel at an intermediate or advanced level, with some knowledge of Power BI being beneficial. Your previous managerial experience and keen attention to detail enables you to meet deadlines and provide meaningful reporting information. Moreover, your ability to communicate effectively with non-finance professionals allows you to work on your own initiative and apply sound judgement.

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
  • Experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment
  • Familiarity with project management
  • Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate or advanced level
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance professionals
