Job Description:

The Senior Management Accountant will support our Business Support teams, delivering vital services including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. You will be responsible for the financial control and reporting of the HS2 JV, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting in the JV management accounts each month, and supporting the Rail finance business partner with ad hoc requirements.

This hybrid role requires being in Warwick HQ 2-3 days per week. It is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities include acting as the finance representative on the HS2 JV, attending relevant meetings, producing reports, organizing audits, supporting payment applications, monitoring disallowed costs, and being the main contact for finance queries related to HS2 JV.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Management Accountant with a CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification (or equivalent), with solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
