Job summary

JasperRose in Central London is seeking a Senior Management Accountant for a permanent role in a fast-growth consumer/tech business. The role offers a realistic path to Finance Manager within 6–12 months, with a 10% bonus and hybrid working (2 days in the office).

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will own month-end close and management accounts, assist with statutory accounts, and mentor a Finance Assistant, while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant experience in management accounting.
• Experience owning management accounts is essential.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (PE-backed or tech) is preferred.
• Exposure to sales commissions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of month-end close and management accounts for all entities, with variance analysis and commentary.
• Balance sheet reconciliations across AR, accruals, prepayments and intangibles.
• Apply IFRS 15 revenue recognition for subscription business and IAS 38 for development costs.
• Support year-end statutory accounts and act as day-to-day contact for external auditors.
• Own the sales commission model with Commercial Finance and Sales leadership on target setting.
• Partner with Commercial Finance on revenue/ARR reporting and monthly SLT pack.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, KPI modelling and ad hoc restructuring projects.
• Mentor and review outputs of a Finance Assistant.
