Due to internal promotion my client is seeking a Qualified Senior Management Accountant to join its team. The role will be based across 2 primary sites in South Wales and will report into the Head of Finance.
My client is seeking a qualified Senior Management Accountant to join its finance team. The role will pay a salary of up to £65k doe plus an excellent benefits package to also include a bonus of circa 5%.
The main role of the Senior Management Accountant will be to lead and manage the finance function managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company. The successful candidate will be a tenacious and confident leader who will be responsible for creating processes aligned to the departmental strategy whilst developing and nurturing the team to ensure that short and mid-term business objectives are fully realised. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while improving standards and process adherence and also ensure compliance to regulatory financial and legal requirements.
The successful candidate will be a proven people leader with an ability to lead by example whilst nurturing a collaborative team environment. You will possess strong organisational skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to implement new systems and processes.
The role will be based solely on site, dividing your time between 1 of 2 site locations in South Wales. The working hours are 9 - 5pm with an hour for lunch Monday to Friday.
