• 3+ Years' experience with Management Accounting.
• Highly conscientious, with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Great at working as part of a collaborative team, and ideally with some experience in mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the accurate preparation of the management accounts process.
• Review and monitor balance sheet reconciliation for month end.
• Monitor accruals vs budgets and investigate variances.
• Review finance processes to streamline management accounting.
• Provide support with external audit.
• Provide clear financial analysis to non-financial stakeholders.
• Mentor and manage management accountants' workload.
• Support the Group Financial Controller with additional tasks.

We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant, on behalf of a Salford based Property company, to undertake the following key duties:

• Support and manage the accurate preparation of the management accounts process and delivery schedule.
• Review and monitor balance sheet reconciliation for month end.
• Monitor accruals v budgets and investigate variances to ensure efficient expenditure.
• Review of finance processes to streamline the management accounting process.
• Provide support with external audit.
• Provide clear financial analysis to non-financial stakeholders.
• Provide functional finance leadership and commercial insight across business areas.
• Mentor, support and manage the management accountants, workload and performance.
• Support the Group Financial Controller, assisting in other tasks when required and support to the finance team in general.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you need to have:
