Porsche Retail Group have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands and join the prestigious Porsche Head Office in Reading. The Head Office shares a site with Porsche Central Operations and both the Porsche Retail Group and Porsche Cars Great Britain Head Offices, with shared facilities including an onsite restaurant, coffee bar, and parking. The site is also located within walking distance of a local shopping park.

About the role

As Senior Management Accountant, you will:

• Assist in producing accurate and timely management accounts, supporting Head Office
• Build an effective network between PRG Finance and the group
• Work closely with the Finance Manager while maintaining independence and objectivity

The role requires a strong individual with commercial awareness, a positive attitude, and a “Can-do” approach, comfortable challenging at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts for HO Cost Centre – Profit and Loss, Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and monthly journals
• Manage Extended Warranty Reconciliations
• Review and approve commission and bonus packs outside of pay plans
• Prepare VAT/Partial Exemption calculations quarterly and submit returns
• Assist in preparing the working file for Corporation tax
• Review costs against budgets monthly and report significant variances
• Prepare monthly Budget/Forecast for Head Office and review with the Finance Manager
• Sign off Bank Reconciliations and review cash/deposit suspense and credit card reconciliations
• Authorize Purchase orders and transactions
• Support compliance and internal audit documentation
• Review internal processes and controls regularly
• Analyze group Insurance Product sales and profits quarterly for Executive meetings

About you

To succeed, you will:

• Be a motivated individual with a strong accounting background and commercial support skills
• Be a Newly Qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or CIMA) with 1–2 years' experience
• Demonstrate a proactive approach, adaptability, and system optimization skills
