Job description

Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact? Our client based on the outskirts of Lincoln is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their organisation and play a crucial rolein managing the organisation’s finances, ensuring transparency and accountability.

In this role you will oversee a small team, and be responsiblefor producing timely, accurate management accounts and financial reports. You will have a keen eye for detail, and experience of working with high value budgets and complex funding streams, ideally in a large corporate organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and develop a finance team of four
• Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Support budget holders with financial planning and reporting
• Support strategic decision-making through insightful analysis and reporting
• Ad hoc project work as required.

Ideally you will be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with experience in a management accountant or similar role. You will be confident handling large budgets, diverse funding streams, and multi-departmental reporting. You will enjoy managing and mentoring a team, and you will be mission-driven, collaborative and highly organised.
