About The Role

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing of accruals and prepayments as informed by operational teams in line with financial processes and principles
  • Assisting other members of the business partnering team with month-end result production
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Tracking and reconciling cash transactions through the business
  • Building relationships with other finance team members
  • Oversee a team responsible for payroll and intercompany postings ensuring postings are accurate and complete in a timely manner
  • Review and understand balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the team completing balance sheet reconciliations across two systems and two chart of accounts
  • Support the finance manager with implementation of best practice within the team
  • Support the team through a challenging transitional phase including company hive ups and systems integrations
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate Should Meet The Following Criteria

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK
  • Planning and diary management skills
  • Able to manage own workload and prioritise workloads to important deadlines
  • Clear communication skills (use of email and calls)
  • Understanding of catering or retail operations would be desirable to help improve understanding of data processing. Minimum AAT level 4 or sufficient QBE demonstrated through previous positions held
