An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant in Warwickshire. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic and unique environment, providing key financial insights and support across various departments. With a generous salary of £250 per day/£50,000 per annum, this position is perfect for a qualified accountant with strong data analysis experience and a background in manufacturing accounting.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Management Accountant, your role will be pivotal in supporting the decision-making process through insightful financial input. You'll be working closely with various departments, particularly focusing on budget preparation and expense management activities. Your strong technical skills in inventory, costing, and valuation methods will be crucial in ensuring accurate tracking and monitoring of inventory levels. Additionally, you'll play an integral role in developing uniform processes across the Group while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

1. Prepare management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets, reports, analysis and compiling of Board packs.
2. Collaborate with other departments particularly in budget preparation and expense management activities.
3. Identify areas of improvement in financial reporting and operations.
4. Support accurate tracking and monitoring of inventory.
5. Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse management teams.
6. Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
7. Ensure accurate inventory valuations and compliance with financial regulations.
8. Manage day to day cash management and insurance requirements.
9. Communicate and agree on intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations.
10. Support beer duty analysis, reconciliation and controls where necessary.

1. Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
2. Strong data analysis experience
3. Manufacturing accounting experience preferably in the food and drinks industry
4. Advanced Excel skills
5. Commercial Awareness
6. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
7. Ability to explain financial information in a clear way
8. Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
