Interim Senior Management Accountant
Location: Trafford Park
Contract: 3 months
Day Rate: £300-£400 per day
Start: Immediate

The Role

We are supporting a leading business currently going through a busy project period and seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join the team on an interim basis. This role will provide critical support to the finance function, ensuring smooth delivery of both BAU and project-related finance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the production of monthly management accounts, analysis, and board pack preparation.
• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Provide day-to-day support to management accountants, assisting with workload and queries.
• Ensure transactional accuracy across finance and stock-related processes
• Deliver commercial analysis to support business decision-making.

The Team & Environment

• Working alongside 4 Assistant Accountants (covering transactional and stock responsibilities).
• Onsite presence preferred (5 days), though flexibility may be available.

The Ideal Candidate

• ACCA / CIMA
• Hands-on and able to "hit the ground running" in a busy finance function.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong systems experience (Sage/Tact desirable).
• Sector experience in retail advantageous but not essential.
