Senior Management Accountant - Bristol (Hybrid)

Core3 are delighted to partner with a market-leading, sustainably-focused construction business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant opportunity based in North Bristol. £58,000 + bonus, generous pension, and hybrid working.

How you'll make an impact

This is a key leadership role within the management accounts function, with responsibility for the accuracy, delivery, and analysis of monthly results for a core business line. You'll lead a team of part-qualified accountants while championing best practice, driving process efficiencies, and acting as a subject matter expert across the wider finance team.

  • Prepare and own timely and accurate monthly management accounts in line with internal and group reporting standards.

  • Lead and develop a team of part-qualified accountants, supporting their technical and professional growth.

  • Drive standardisation, resource optimisation, and operational efficiencies across the team.

  • Take ownership for the integrity of key balance sheet accounts and ensure clear communication across finance and operational stakeholders.

  • Build strong working relationships with business line controllers, analysts, and site leadership.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing accounting and systems process improvements.

  • Co-ordinate internal controls and audit activities across the SSC, ensuring deadlines and action plans are met.
