Description

A well-respected Blackpool-based organisation is now looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role will report to the Head of Finance and will have responsibility for a team of 6. This is an exciting opportunity as the team has recently undergone a re-structure and major investment. The role is suitable for an ambitious, experienced finance professional who can support a culture of continuous improvement as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team.

A summary of responsibilities includes:

1. Leadership of the business partner function, including financial reporting, planning, and systems.
2. Developing effective key stakeholder relationships to challenge performance and drive continuous improvement.
3. Ownership of financial systems and reporting.
4. Continuously improving financial and commercial processes.
5. Producing accurate, timely monthly business performance packs, budgets, quarterly forecasts, statutory accounts, and external returns.
6. Producing budgets and forecasts.
7. Driving continuous process improvement and automation.
