Job description

We are delighted to be working with our client, as they recruit this newly created position of Senior Management Accountant.

A global business, our client are Private Equity backed with entities & locations around the world and are at a pivotal stage as they undergo positive change and evolution, which includes their strategy and market focus to play a leading role in the energy transition.

The role will see you act as a finance partner to leadership and cost center managers, enabling informed decision-making through timely, accurate management reporting, and ensuring the business is well-positioned to meet its financial obligations, investor expectations, and long-term objectives.

You will report to the Financial Controller in providing robust financial stewardship and strategic insight to support the sustainable growth and operational efficiency of this private equity-backed business.

This is varied role, which includes:

Essential requirements for this role are:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ICAEW) with 5+ PQE


• Knowledge of accounting policies, including international accounting standards


• Knowledge of internal control and risk management concepts


• Proficient in IT applications, especially with financial software packages


• Energy sector knowledge is beneficial but not essential
