The Senior Technician will be based in the Maker Space within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Environment at the PeelPark Campus. You will work closely with students and academic staff to facilitate the use of 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC mills, lathes and routers, develop and deliver learning resources, and ensure rigorous Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.

• Contributes academically to the development and or delivery of research/teaching/enterprise activities.
• Directs assessments of specialist space health and safety. Participates in assessments of specialist health and safety.
• Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.
