You will translate complex technical, commercial and financial information into clear narratives for senior leaders and regulators, collaborating with programme teams and consultants to shape investment strategies and secure funding.

Qualifications

• Experience developing business cases for large-scale infrastructure or complex capital programmes.
• Strong understanding of HM Treasury Green Book guidance and the Five Case Model.
• Experience defining requirements and embedding measurable benefits into decisions.
• Excellent written communication for senior leaders, boards and regulators.
• Stakeholder management across multiple teams and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development of major investment business cases from concept to approval and delivery.
• Turning complex technical, commercial and financial information into clear investment proposals.
• Working with programme teams, sponsors and consultants to shape investment strategies and secure funding.
• Defining and embedding measurable benefits to deliver long-term value for customers and environment.
• Managing requirements and ensuring a clear link between needs, scope, costs and benefits.
• Supporting governance, assurance and regulatory submissions; ensuring high-quality business cases.
