Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major reservoir and water infrastructure projects within a national programme.

You will report to a Senior Project Manager and oversee end-to-end delivery across assets like reservoirs and water treatment works, coordinating technical, commercial, and supplier teams in a hybrid working model between Peterborough and London. The role demands strong planning, risk, and stakeholder management, with NEC contract experience

Qualifications

• Experience managing infrastructure projects through feasibility, design, planning, construction and operation.
• Knowledge of CDM requirements and a safety-first mindset.
• Full driving licence; travel between sites required.
• Experience with major water sector projects or Development Consent Order would be valuable.

Responsibilities

• Manage project risks, issues, opportunities, early warnings and changes through governance processes.
• Monitor performance against milestones and budgets; report variances clearly.
• Manage allocated suppliers, contracts, scopes, budgets and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with technical leads to manage dependencies between suppliers, assets and programme teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost, schedule and delivery performance.
• Provide visible leadership to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders and report to governance boards.
