A leading company in logistics seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment availability and compliance with safety standards. You will lead a team, monitor performance, and implement process improvements while working in a dynamic environment. Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is central to Amazon's commitment to innovation. As Amazon evolves, this team ensures that the tools and technologies we use stay up-to-date. As a Senior RME Technician, you'll help us adopt the latest technologies and identify efficient ways of working. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards through process monitoring and implementing upgrades to enhance those standards.
During each shift, you'll lead your team to ensure equipment availability and proper functioning. This involves process monitoring to adhere to regulations and policies, and performing preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. You'll observe operational processes, suggest and implement efficiency improvements across the BR-wide function, and monitor system performance using tools like SCADA. Close collaboration with your line manager on administrative tasks is also part of your role.
This position is based at one of our operational sites. You will work in shifts, which may include weekends and nights. As you gain experience, you'll be positioned for advancement into more senior roles.
