Qualifications

  • GCSE level C or above with Minimum NVQ Level 3 in a relevant qualification.
  • Proven experience in maintenance within a technical department.
  • Ability to work with automated conveyor systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance and system repairs are conducted.
  • Manage contractors and obtain necessary permits for work.
  • Respond immediately to breakdowns in production equipment.

Skills

GCSE level C or above
NVQ Level 3 with an Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic Qualification
Experience working within a Technical department

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Qualified Maintenance Technician (QT) to join our team in our RuncornDistribution Centre as a Senior Maintenance Technician. This role involves responsibility for Planned Preventative Maintenance, system breakdowns, defect repair and general upkeep of the depot facilities and automation ensuring that system cleanliness and condition is kept to a high standard.

To assist and manage on site projects, technical repairs and technicians workloads ensuring correct. Ensuring all Maintenance of high volume picking machinery and other ancillary equipment is up to date and operational at all times. Immediate response to any breakdowns to the production equipment in accordance with the production hours. Engage and manage contractors including obtaining/providing permits to work, risk assessments and method statements.

Base rate - £43, (supplements not included)

Hourly Rate - £ per hour

Working Pattern

hours per week

Early shift - Sunday 06:00AM to 14:00PM Monday to Friday - 06:00AM to 14:15PM

Late shift - Monday to Friday 14:00PM to 22:15PM

Night shift - Monday to Friday 22:00PM to 06:15AM
