Job summary

JLR's Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre invites applications for a Manufacturing Senior Maintenance Process Leader. You will be a key member of the maintenance leadership team, driving safer, more reliable production equipment and delivering SQDCPE objectives.

You will lead maintenance activities across reactive repairs, PPM programmes, and continuous improvement, while developing training plans and ensuring robust shift-to-shift communication.

Qualifications

• Supervise maintenance operational teams to meet production targets.
• Technical automotive engineering skills in large automated environments.
• Experience specifying and installing new automation to realise productivity targets.
• Experience with environmental controls and practices.
• Demonstrable experience in the application of a logical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance supervision ensuring safe, efficient operation.
• Coordinate reactive repairs, condition-based monitoring, and PPM programmes.
• Drive waste reduction and cost-efficiency in maintenance operations.
• Ensure effective shift-to-shift communication with performance data.
• Support deployment of maintenance strategy aligning with plant objectives.
• Develop training and competency plans for maintenance personnel.
• Foster continuous improvement through structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
