Secondment Opportunity: Senior Maintenance Officer

Reidvale Housing Association is currently undergoing a period of transformation, and we’re offering an exciting secondment opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to join us as a Senior Maintenance Officer.

Location: Reidvale Housing Association, Glasgow

Duration: 6 months

Hours: Full-time, 35hrs per week

Salary: £48,597- £52,578

Closing Date for Applications: 20th June 2025

About The Role

As a Senior Maintenance Officer, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality repairs, maintenance, and property services across our housing stock. You’ll work closely with contractors, tenants, and colleagues to ensure our homes are safe, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the future of Reidvale as we modernise and improve our services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day and planned maintenance programmes

Oversee contractor performance and ensure value for money

Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Support the development of asset management strategies

Provide technical advice and guidance to the wider team

Management of major stonework repair contract

Supervise staff within the maintenance team

What We’re Looking For

Experience in housing maintenance or property services

Strong project management and organisational skills

A customer-focused approach with excellent communication

Knowledge of health and safety and housing regulations

A proactive mindset and ability to adapt during change
