Due to continued growth, a leading European manufacturer of automotive parts is actively seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The organisation, with over 20 sites across Europe, is well-established in its industry and maintains a professional approach.

Your role will involve leading the maintenance team towards full TPM, ensuring continuous and safe operation to minimize incidents and breakdowns.

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

• Leading in-house electrical installations and major technical maintenance operations such as toggle replacements, pump repairs, and hydraulic seals replacements.
• Taking responsibility for the technical aspects of in-house continuous improvement projects.
• Promoting a preventative mindset over corrective actions.
• Managing all aspects of 5S around maintenance.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will:

• Have experience at a similar level in an injection moulding environment.
• Be multi-skilled with strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment, and automation.
• Hold electrical qualifications.
• Be able to read and understand technical drawings (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical).
• Work well within teams and be capable of taking a lead.
