The University of Reading is seeking a highly motivated Senior Maintenance Electrician to join the Estates Campus Operations team. You will support the low-voltage electrical network across University-owned properties, performing fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance with a professional, safe approach.

You will manage your own workload, keep accurate CAFM records, and participate in the on-call rota providing a 24/7 service.

Qualificações

• Recognised time-served apprenticeship or equivalent with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation/maintenance.
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations to BS7671.
• Experience in planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Ability to fault-find on complex electrical installations and apply safe working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Provide reactive maintenance across University properties' low-voltage electrical network.
• Conduct fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records in the CAFM system and prioritise own workload.
• Ensure work is performed safely in line with legislation and university procedures.
