Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Electrician

Are you a skilled Senior Maintenance Electrician looking for a rewarding opportunity? We have an exciting full-time, permanent position available with a FM Team at a Hospital in Oxford. Join us in making a difference every day!

Position: Senior Maintenance Electrician

Location: Oxford Hospital

Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Work Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as Lead Technician, overseeing electrical building services installation and maintenance techniques on-site.
2. Apply your trade skills and experience while providing one-on-one training to team members.
3. Ensure completion of statutory obligations and all allocated maintenance, repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works within SLAs and KPIs.
4. Take on AP/RP roles where applicable or receive training to enhance your skillset.
5. Conduct testing and inspection in line with City & Guilds 2391 standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Qualifications: Must have a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or Level 3 qualifications (theory & practice) in a relevant electrical discipline.
2. HV & LV AP Qualified: Required
3. Experience:
1. Extensive experience in building services.
2. Knowledge of air handling plants and water hygiene.
3. Experience within a Healthcare environment is a plus, particularly with medical gases.
4. Willingness to Learn: Must be open to cross-skilling to expand your capabilities.
5. Skills:
1. Strong customer service and communication skills.
2. Excellent planning, organising, and prioritising skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgement to resolve issues.
4. Strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures (formal training is a bonus).
